The Verse of Incense

Notice in the lower left corner the smoke wafting from the egoro (after finishing a goma).  The verse recited while placing the incense in the egoro is as follows.

    • I WISH FOR THIS FRAGRANT FLOWER CLOUD TO PERFUME THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE

      IN INFINITE LANDS MAY THIS FRAGRANCE ADORN AND SUPPORT THE PATH OF BODHISATTVAS

    • AND MAY BODHISATTVAS ACHIEVE THE FRAGRANCE OF BUDDHAS
